This course is perfect to get an introduction to the foundations of rock climbing.
This trip also includes caving, some light trekking, and an abseil from the most beautiful viewpoint in Railay!
You will be led by a professional team. Have no fear and join-in to have a wonderful experience.
In the morning session; from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. you will start with a briefing on the equipment use & safety measures; do top rope climbing; learn about belay & climbing techniques
In the afternoon session; from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. you will do top rope climbing; trekking & abseil from the famous viewpoint!
The itinerary of you day:
8:45 a.m.: Arrive at Real Rocks Shop for check in, guide meet and climbing gear fitting
9:00 a.m.: Depart, on foot, to outdoor climbing areas on the beach
9:05 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Morning rock climbing session
1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m.: Break for lunch
2:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.: Afternoon rock climbing session + caving & abseiling from the Railay viewpoint
5:30 p.m.: Return to starting point, return gear
6:00 p.m.: Return to hotel (by long tail boat if you are coming from Ao Nang or Krabi town)
*Please note that the price includes:
-Taxi pickups and long tail boat tickets to Railay. The pick up is provided from ilay Beach, Ao Nang & Krabi ONLY (Note that Return are available for certain zones only.)
**Please note the following information:
-Pick up time will be between: 7h30- 8h00 a.m.
-You must bring your passport number. This info is required for the personal insurance guaranteed to each customer
-Children under 5 years old cannot participate to this activity.
-Special wear are provided for children.
-This activity is suitable for beginner and intermediate climbers.
-All ages and abilities are welcome.
***We recommend you to bring along:
- Waterproof or plastic bag to protect your valuables from the water
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
- Mosquito repellent
- Personal medications
- Sandals or comfortable walking shoes for the beach
- Loose t-shirt/ shorts/ leggings or fisherman pants for climbing
- Hand towel
- Headlamp or torch if you intend to visit the caves
- Snacks and refreshments (things are pricier in Railay Beach than on the mainland!)
- Cash for tipping climbing guides (optional)
