This activity is proposed by a worldly famous vegetarian cooking school. Thousands of students have already taken and approved this cooking class.
Afternoon Class schedule:
2:00 p.m. - 2:10 p.m.
During this time you will get to meet your instructor and the other students of this morning cooking class batch.
You will be served a fresh juice such as Papaya, Mango or Dragonfruit, and a bottle of water.
You will also receive a special notes booklet to review first and which will be later read in more detail during the cooking class.
You will be given the option to develop a set of desired recipes to learn during the course.
2:10 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
If you opt to learn cold recipes, you will start with making recipes such as Som Tom.
Then, a discussion of Thai spices and herbs will be driven by your instructor. This discussion will cover Galangal, Kaffir Lime Leaves, Spicy Basil, Sweet Basil, Coriander and Chinese Ginge. The discussion will also focus on the availability of ingredients outside Thailand as well as the use of substitute ingredients in the home country of each student.
2:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
You will start to make recipes you have chosen at the start of the class. As the afternoon class tends to be smaller than in the morning, you will be able to receive more one-on-one attention. Besides, the pace of the class will be controlled by you and suit your personal taste.
3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m
You will be given a short break to sit and rest and will have the freedom to discuss the techniques learned during the course.
4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Cold Food Recipes
You will be taught a tutorial on how to make fresh spring rolls and papaya salad.
Traditional Thai Dancing
You will be introduced to traditional Thai dancing and encouraged to participate in learning basics steps and moves.
To end this great cooking class, you will be served a complimentary Sticky Rice and Mango dessert.
5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
This session will be a debriefing of you class. You can ask questions to your instructor, and you will be free to spend time until 6 p.m. to practice the techniques learned during the class.
