Here's your chance to fully feel the heartbeat of Thailand's Chiang Mai city. This comprehensive city tour adventure begins by exploring a splendid temple that stands on the banks of the Mae Ping River: Wat Chai Mongkol. Once you're here, fully appreciate the tradition by learning about their practices and offer alms to the Monks.
Next you'll be heading to the lifeline of Chiang Mai, the Mae Ping River on a longtail boat to see some of the rural villages. Intently hear your guide, for he'll offer explanations on the history and how people in these villages sustain a livelihood. Hopefully by the end of this part, you would've built up an appetite which is why your guide will take you to a local farmer's house for a delectable and must-try dish, Khao Soi lunch (noodle soup).
Once you've satisfied your hunger, the tour guide will lead you to a garden to learn all about local vegetables, herbs, and the medicinal properties of plants. Make haste as you will be stopping along Warorot Market, one of the largest markets in Chiang Mai, before finally arriving at Chiang Mai.
Alas! This isn't the end of your tour because your wallets need some fresh-air for shopping, especially at Ton Lam Yai Flower Market, that's full of colourful and fresh cut flowers. Only after you get over this part, does your Chiang Mai city tour adventure end.
