Participants are picked up in the morning in their accommodation in Bangkok and driven to Ayutthaya, the former capital, where you will change for a bicycle to discover the historical park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. According to the trip you have chosen (1, 2 or 3 days) you will enjoy different activities, have the opportunity to witness genuine local life, and sleep on the barge. At the end of your trip, you are dropped at your hotel/home in Bangkok. The barge can accommodate up to 12 guests.
Day 1: Bangkok - Ayutthaya (-/L/D)
Travel from Bangkok to Ayutthaya, a former capital of Thailand. Change your transportation to an eco-friendly bike tour to explore the marvellous of Ayutthaya Historical Park, featured as a UNESCO list of World Heritage sites since 1991. Continue visiting the Elephant Kraal Pavillion and enjoy a delicious Thai lunch onboard the Thanatharee, a unique teak wood boat, while you cruise along the river. In the afternoon and the evening join the regular program according to the daily activities before your transfer back to Bangkok. It is time for a delicious dinner onboard. Accommodation in comfortable private air-conditioned twin cabins, each with 2-berths.
Day 2: Ayutthaya - (B/L/D)
Rise early to join activities like preparing some traditional Thai Sweets - "Khanom" or offering food to the Monks on their morning alms round. After breakfast continue with the regular program according to the daily activities including lunch onboard. End of the program and transfer back to Bangkok late in the afternoon.
