"1-day Trekking at Fortress Wall of Seoul
Seoul is undeniably one of the most advanced cities in Asia. However, beyond the magnificent skyscrapers and the latest technology, Seoul does its best in preserving the nation’s history and culture. In fact, there is no better way to experience the history that remains in this beautiful city than to take a hike up the Fortress Wall of Seoul.
Built in 1396, these magnificent walls were erected as a form of defense for the ancient capital city. There are 6 different trails for those who wish to scale this grandiose site, namely Baegaksan/Bugaksan Course, Naksan Course, Namsan Course, and Inwangsan Course.
In this particular trek, you will be scaling up the fortress via the Naksan course. Scenic, quiet and peaceful are the words that best describe this trail. Not only do you get to enjoy the exceptional bird-eye view of Seoul, this is perhaps the best way to lose yourself in the nature and take a panoramic break from the hustle of the city.
You will be walking on 3 of the core trails, or if you wish, you may also select the trails of your choice.
So, get your hiking gear ready and be enchanted by not only the historical beauty of this site, but also the stunning bird-eye view of the city you will be rewarded with throughout your trails.
Please note that the starting time is at 3 PM, and meeting point will be at Exit 5 (Outside) of Hansung Univ Station Line 4."
