Get on a journey discovering Borobudur, the world biggest Buddhist temple as well as Prambanan the largest Hindu temple, both declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
You will start your day being picked up at 5AM by your guide, and will be brought to the Borobudur temple, where you will enter at 6AM, perfect time for the sunrise.
You'll start your day by enjoying one of your most mystical sunrise ever, from the top of the Borobudur temple, highest monument in the area, and still hiding in the midst at this time; such as the Mount Merapi that you will be able to observe from the top of this magnificent temple.
As you climb, you will discover detailed stone carvings displayed on the walls, while your guide tell you about the fascinating history of Borobudur, make sure to bring your camera.
Following this visit, you'll be rewarded by a coffee break and snacks before going on to visit Prambanan and some other hidden temples on its way. You will pass through villages, lush green landscapes and meet locals on your way.
Buddhists and Hindus used to live very close as you will observe during this tour.
Welcome to Prambanan, known locally as Roro Jonggrang, coming from the legend of the ‘slender virgin’ that will be told to you during the tour.
At the end of this mystical and magical day, you'll be dropped back at your hotel to get some rest, around 4PM.
