From spicy local "Lombok food" with hot chillies and herbs to the sweetness of Javanese food made with fresh coconut milk, palm sugar and peanuts. Discover the unique flavours and fruity sourness of lime, lemongrass and tamarind.
Our cooking classes commence daily at 10:00 and end about 13:30 after having lunch together.
The classes are a fun educational and enjoyable way to learn about the Indonesian food and culture for the whole family.
We make a minimum of 4-5 dishes each class, and a sample menu might look like below (this changes every day depending on what I think will go together):
- Tempe manis
- Fish in Banana Leaf
- Perkedel Jagung (Corn Fritters)
- Curry (Chicken, Fish or Beef)
- Tofu with Yoghurt and Cream
- Ikan bakar (Grilled fish)
