This is a trek you shall remember for years to come, owed to the natural beauty and active volcano you shall be experiencing. Perhaps this is also the reason why Mt Batur trek is a popular choice among several tourists.
Do note that this adventure is only for experienced mountain climbers as there are steep areas, which is trying for inexperienced climbers. For those of you who are up for this adventure, your tour commences with a breakfast at The Lookout at 8am. Fill your stomach to your heart's content for the journey ahead stretches across 16km, and then begin the actual trek at 9.30am. You'll get the opportunity to view marvellous gifts of nature till about 11.30 - that's when you break for a well-deserved snack at the summit. But don't worry if it's too short a break before you begin the trek, because an hour later you shall break for lunch at 1847 crater.
Next up on your trekking adventure in Bali is the crater cave temple exploration at 1.30pm, followed by craters of 1908-1963 exploration. And after all that walking you've done, at 4pm you shall be given the green light to soak in a hot spring pool to unwind and relax those tired and aching body parts. Hang in there for as long as want, then head over for dinner at 6.30pm at Danu Art Cafe.
