Reef Check was established in 1996 in an attempt to create a simple standardised marine survey that can be used worldwide. A standardised survey allows for all the data to be collected and compared resulting in the world’s first globalised survey.
During your training you will learn about the threats to our local reefs and why monitoring the reefs are so important, marine identification and EcoDiver survey methods which will give you the skills which will allow you to take part in and conduct your own Reef Check surveys around the world.
